A manuscript evaluation will look at the big picture. It will consider whether the storyline is compelling, if the narrative structure and pace are strong, and whether the manuscript has engaging character arcs.
Includes a detailed editorial write-up and a 45 minute video call conversation. The write-up will highlight what is and isn’t working and give suggestions to elevate your manuscript. The conversation provides an opportunity to talk through the evaluation and to discuss how to take the manuscript to the next level.
For novels up to 90,000 words.

A full developmental edit will address both the big picture and detailed aspects of your manuscript. This is the most in-depth edit that I offer.
You’ll receive a detailed editorial letter that covers elements such as structure, characterisation, pacing, and your overall narrative arc. The letter will highlight what is and isn’t working and give suggestions to elevate your manuscript.
In addition to this big picture feedback, this edit includes attention to finer details such as dialogue, layers of meaning, active action and different modes of presenting the narrative.
You’ll receive page-by-page feedback, with comments directly on your manuscript that link back to the editorial letter, showing where and how you might revise the text.
Includes an initial video call conversation to discuss your manuscript, editorial write-up and a 60 minute video call conversation to discuss how to take the manuscript to the next level.
For novels up to 90,000 words.
